History

My father was a young man when he dreamed of having a beach house in his hometown Santa Marta, and in 1990, with the support of my mother, they made his dream come true. What started as a grass field for me and my siblings to play soon became the social gathering place for the Hernandez family.

My parents first built a restroom area followed by a beach hut that later became a single-story house, which has now become the house you see before you.

Dad would have his fishing club meetings, mom would entertain family and friends, and I would stay up late by the pool drinking beer and listening to music with my friends.

Over time, the family grew, and now my parents have more than 12 grandchildren, and it became increasingly challenging to gather them all. So, one day my mom said we should add more rooms, and I said, 'Why not build a hotel?'

Years later, after thousands of barbecues, parties, and family members' weddings, we decided it was time to open our doors to everyone. We want to share the lifestyle of Santa Marta as it was meant to be, waking up to the sound of the waves and relaxing on the beach of our city.
